Iran feature ‘Dressage’ has been scheduled to go on the silver screen at the 8th edition of On The Edge Sakhalin Film Festival in the US.
The flick is to attend the competition section of the Russian film event.
Directed by Pouya Badkoubeh, ‘Dressage’ tells the story of Golsa and her friends who, motivated primarily by boredom rather than greed, decide to rob a corner shop.
But while evaluating the steal, they are dismayed to realize that they forgot to take the security camera footage; so one of them must return to the crime scene and retrieve it.
On The Edge Sakhalin Film Festival is an echo of the big world of cinema that resonates on the edge of the world. At the same time, the event embodies the answer of the East to the questions of the West.
The 2018 edition of the event is slated for August 24-31, in Sakhalin, Russia. The festival is currently underway.
