Iran big screen productions have nailed three titles at 58th Asia-Pacific Film Festival, Taiwan.
Iran film 'Appendix' won Best Actor Award of the festival for Amirali Danaei’s impressive acting.
Director Hussein Namazi also grabbed a special mention for his innovation and creativity in making 'Appendix'.
In its first international appearance, ‘Appendix’ received Best Screenplay award from the main competition section of 41st Montreal World Film Festival in Canada.
Best supporting actress award was presented to Sorayya Qasemi for her outstanding performance in ‘Villa Residents’.
The Asia-Pacific Film Festival (APFF) is an annual film festival hosted by the Federation of Motion Picture Producers in Asia-Pacific.
The festival is held in a different country each year.
APFF was held at Taipei, Taiwan from August 31 to September 1, 2018.
