Iran films on travelling filmfest

A line up of Iran movies has been selected to compete at 2018 edition of Jagran Film Festival in India.

The roll includes the likes of 'Where Are My Shoes' by Kioumars Pourahmad, 'The Stunt Man' by Kioumars Samadi-Tari and Abdolhassan Barzideh's 'Mazar-e Sharif' as well as two of Ebrahim Hatamikia's movies 'Bodyguard' and 'The Color Purple'.

ifilm viewers have already seen 'Bodyguard' by Ebrahim Hatamikia as it has been aired by the channel.

The film has won several awards from national and International festivals including the Best Actor award at 34th Fajr Film Festival in Iran.

The other flicks attending the event have also been screened at national and International festivals. 'Mazar-e Sharif', for example, has attended and won the best film award from Phoenix Film Festival in Melbourne city of Australia.

The 9th edition of Jagran Film Festival is being held in 18 cities of India which lasts three months.

The fest saw July opening in New Delhi and on its tour it goes to Kanpur, Lucknow, Allahabad, Varanasi, Patna, Dehradun, Ranchi, Jamshedpur, Bhopal, Indore, Gorakhpur, Agra, Ludhiana, Hisar, Meerut, Raipur and finally on September 20 it will end in Mumbai.
