2018 Nara International film Festival in Japan is to screen a doc 'The Wind from Persia' on Iranian director Ida Panahandeh.
The 35-minute documentary film directed by Japanese director Minaki Matsui is on Panahandeh, as the first woman to win the Golden Shika Award at the 2016 edition of Nara International film event.
The film depicts the Iranian director's process of making her film 'the Nikaidos' Fall' on love far away from her hometown.
Panahandeh's new film will be competing at 2018 edition of the festival.
The Nara International Film Festival is a biennial film event which embraces emerging young filmmakers, nurtures audience and features artistic talent through films.
The fifth edition of the film event is slated for September 20-24, 2018 in Nara, Japan.
