Latest edition of Slemani International Film Festival in Iraq is to feature 4 Iranian films to be shown in 'Special Screen' section.
The third edition of Slemani Filmfest has introduced four films from Iran for its 'Special Screen' section.
'Take Me Home' by late Iran legendary director Abbas Kiarostami, '76 Minutes and 15 Seconds with Abbas Kiarostami' by Seifollah Samadian and 'The Paternal House' by Kianoush Ayari are among the Iranian films to be screened at the event.
'The Legend of the Ugly King' by Hossein Tabnak will also go on screen at 'Special Screen' section.
'Take Me Home' was previously screened at the 13th Dubai International Film Festival, along with the documentary '76 Minutes and 15 Seconds with Abbas Kiarostami' directed by his long-time friend and photographer Seifollah Samadian.
In this round of the festival, the best film director plague of honor will be bestowed on the late Iranian filmmaker Taha Karimi, who died on May 13, 2013 in a car accident in Slemani.
Slemani International Film Festival is scheduled for October 10-16, 2018 in Iraq.
