Iran to stage ‘Lonelier than Jesus’

Iranian troupe is set to stage theatrical work  ‘Lonelier than Jesus’ with a theme on Imam Hussein (AS).

The theatrical work will have a fresh approach in narration of Imam Hossein’s (AS) martyrdom in the battle of Karbala.

The 60-min theater will be a presentation in 1500-sqm field to be held at one of the parks in Iranian capital city of Tehran.

A total of 400 cast and crew will be involved in the huge project to dramatize the suffering of Imam Hussein (AS) and his household and companions in the battle of Karbala and its aftermath.
