Iran animated film 'Pet Man' is slated to be screened at the China International Green Film Week.
Directed by Marzieh Abrar-Paydar, the animation will be screened at the 10th edition of the Chinese film week starting from today in Beijing.
‘Pet Man’ tells the story of a pet shop owner who is sleeping in the shop. He sees himself in a scary cage with other animals. Trying to break the cage, he faces a barrier every time.
The animation has so far taken part at a number of international events, including the 40th Festival international du Court Metrage in France.
China International Green Film Week's mission is “to carry the memories via films, to protect the future via cameras”.
It is a large-scale film cultural event held by Chinese filmmakers to raise awareness of animals, nature and environment protection.
