‘Everybody Knows’ has been screened at the Lumière Film Festival in France.
Directed by Asghar Farhadi, the film was screened at the French event, honoring the main star Javier Bardem.
Farhadi and Bardem were both present at the festival.
'Everybody Knows' tells the story of a woman named Laura who lives with her husband and children in Buenos Aires, Argentina. In an unexpected turn of events, the family's course of life changes on their trip to Spain.
The flick is Farhadi’s second film shot outside Iran. In 2012, he directed 'The Past' in French language in Paris. 'The Past' brought its star, Berenice Bejo, the Palme d’Or for best actress in 2013.
Javier Bardem and Penelope Cruz who are a couple in real life costar in Farhadi's production.
