The list of bestselling films at Iranian box office for October 12-18, 2018, has been unveiled with ‘Los Angeles-Tehran' shining at the top.
‘Los Angeles-Tehran' by Tina Pakravan (Weekly gross: 21,542,030,000, Total gross: 29,208,070,000), 'Sheeple' by Houman Seyyedi (Weekly gross: 17,443,550,000, Total gross: 68,249,980,000), 'Lasagna' by Hossein Qanat (Weekly gross: 5,197,740,000, Total gross: 13,796,400,000), 'Hashtag' by Rahim Behboudifar (Weekly gross: 4,854,530,000 Rials, Total gross: 17,021,810,000 Rials), and 'Cold Sweat' by Soheil Beiraqi (Weekly gross: 2,719,970,000 Rials, Total gross: 11,055,840,000 Rials).
The story of ‘Los Angeles-Tehran' is about two men coming to Iran, a so called French Monsieur and a standup comedian. As the plot of the flick develops, the audience will see funny moments such as an old woman falling in love.
“Two brothers are running and making Crystal meth in a hidden laboratory in middle of nowhere at an urban jungle and they do care for the honor of their neighborhood. All of a sudden a mobile footage on their sister’s spreads everywhere and this causes some strange incidents,” a short synopsis of 'Sheeple' reads.

'Hashtag' depicts some family issues such as the effect of internet and smart phones on family relations.
'Cold Sweat' is a film that focuses on women rights and shows a women futsal team while one of the team members, who is travel-banned, has to deal with a challenge at the airport.
