'Midday Adventures: Blood Trap' is slated to be ready for the 37th Fajr Film Festival in Iran.
Directed by Mohammad-Hossein Mahdavian, the movie is currently on the shooting stage in Tehran.
The first picture of 'Midday Adventures: Blood Trap' has been also published.
Produced by Seyyed Mahmoud Razavi and co-written by Hossein Torab-Nezhad and Ebrahim Amini, the sequel will be made in political genre.
‘Midday Adventures’, a political drama that portrays the terrorist atrocities of the Mujahedin-e Khalq Organization (MKO) in Iran during the 1980s, was crowned best at the 35th Fajr Film Festival in 2017.
It also bagged 4 other Simorgh awards, namely the Audience Favorite Film, Best Scenic Designer, Best Costume Designer and Best Film with National View at the event.
