Iran's short film 'Scar' has won the audience award at Sahar International Short Film Festival in the United Kingdom.
The film was named the best film from the audience's perspective at the 5th edition of Sahar International Short Film Festival, which was held on November 3.
Directed and written by Amir Hossein Basir, 'Scar' addresses two days in the life of a 7-year-old child who has been abused in an incident that left a deep scar on his soul.
Basir said the film is made for the people who don't see themselves responsible for some incidents and remain silent in front of them.
The director has made several short films and is currently making his first feature film.
