Iranian documentary 'Landless than the Wind' has been named as one of official selections at the Tehran International Short Film Festival (TISFF).
Directed by Gholam-Reza Jafari, 'Landless than the Wind (Bi Sarzamin tar az Bad)' was selected for the international competition category of the TISFF.
Earlier, the names of six Iranian films nominated for the international competition section were announced.
Short animation ‘Run Rostam Run’ directed by Hossein Molayemi, short film 'Like a Good Kid' by Arian Vazirdaftari, 'Roh al-Qudus' made by Amir-Ahmad Qazvini and the animation 'I'm Wolf and Hit Flock' directed by Amir-Houshang Moein were among the nominees.
The TISFF is "one of the oldest short film festivals not only in Iran, but also in the region", according the website of the festival.
The 35th edition of the event, set to be directed by Seyyed-Sadeq Mousavi, will be held in the Iranian capital city on November 9-13, 2018.
Organized by Iranian Youth Cinema Society (IYCS), the festival aims to provide an opportunity for young filmmakers to exchange their experiences.
