Actually, about me being personally interested in the subject, I can say this one was different from the previous 3 I’d written for Mr. Ahanj. As he had stuck to it, faithfully; and the trust gave me the green light to accept this job, too. The subject was of course interesting to me, as there had never been a series produced in Iran with a similar theme. So, surely any screenwriter would be tempted to accept such an offer.
To me, it’s appealing to experience a variety of genres, as well as new topics and themes, which are novel and unprecedented domestically. Fortunately, I’ve had such chances to date, and that series was also a totally different one, compared to my other experiences.
In fact, the blueprint for the ideas had been jotted down years ago. Given that flight security is not an issue to be simply overlooked, there were concerns on that; I guess it was considered improper at the time to have such a theme turned into a series.
