“A bunch of well-off teenagers rob a shop – for fun. One of them, 16-year-old Golsa, hides the recording of the robbery. First the friends, and later their parents, as well as the girl’s parents demand her to give the video away, so it would not get into the hands of the police,” the plot reads by the festival’s website.
Ali Mosaffa, Shabnam Moqaddami, Houshang Tavakkoli, Alireza Sanifar, Alireza Aqakhani, and Siamak Adib are among the cast members.
The Iranian feature has won Best First Film Award at the 36th Fajr Int’l Film Festival as well as Golden Gazelle Award for Best Feature Film at the 7th Persian Int’l Film Festival in Australia and received jury award at the 68th Berlin Int’l Film Festival (Berlinale) in Germany.
