Iran short film ‘Manicure’ has been scheduled to go on the silver screen at the 29th edition of Istanbul International Short Film Festival in Turkey.
Directed by Arman Fayyaz, ‘Manicure’ is to represent Iran at the Turkish film event.
'Manicure' is the story of a young man having trouble coping with the sudden death of his wife, while facing pressure from the local villagers.
This 14-minute short film was produced in 2017 and has participated in film festivals across the world including the 24th edition of Encounters Film Festival in the UK and the Big Bang International Short Film Festival in Athens.
According to the Istanbul International Short Film Festival website, the gala is the longest running and most experienced organization among the International short film events in Turkey.
The latest edition of the festival is slated for December 14-21, 2018.
