The jury members of JUNIORFEST Film Festival in Czech Republic have honored Iranian animation 'Amin and Akvan'.
Directed by Zohal Razavi, the 76-min animation was honored by the jury of the latest edition of the festival.
The plot summery says, "Amin and Akvan develop their business with the help from the ruler of the town.
But Akvan’s jealousy towards Amin leads him to sabotage and revenge. During his scheme, the ruler is hurt and Amin is punished. Can Amin survive the predicament?"
‘Amin and Akvan’ has previously gone on sale at 2018 Cannes Film Market.
JUNIORFEST is a film festival for children and youth that has been held regularly in the Pilsen Region since 2008.
It is a competition festival focusing not only on fiction and animated film production but - as of 2017 - also on documentary production.
The 2018 edition of the festival was held on November 9-15, 2018.
