Iran actress Mahour Alvand has joined the new cinematic flick ‘Takhti, the World Champion’.
Directed by Bahram Tavakkoli, the film which is a biopic that shows the life of Iranian world wrestling champion Qolam-Reza Takhti enjoys having Mahour Alvand among the cast members.
A number of ifilm stars including Atila Pesyani, Hamid-Reza Azarang, Parivash Nazariyeh and Behnoush Tabatabaee have already joined the cast of the film.
Born in 1994, Mahour Alvand is an Iranian actress and the daughter of famous Iranian director Sirous Alvand. She has, so far, played in a number of movies including ‘Daughter’ directed by Reza Mirkarimi.
For her role in Ramtin Lavafi’s ‘Hattrick’, alvand won the best actress award from the 36th Fajr International Film Festival in Iran.
In ‘Takhti, the World Champion’, she plays the role of Qolam-Reza Takhti’s wife.
