Iran to launch film event in Syria

Iran is slated to launch the Iranian Film Week in Damascus, Syria.

Mohammad Khazaei, the secretary of the Resistance International Film Festival told the media that besides launching the Iranian Film Week, some artistic figures are also to be present at the event.

The selected films of the Resistance International Film Festival will be screened at the event.

The RIFF, one of the most prestigious international film festivals in Iran, is dedicated to productions on wars and the repercussions of armed conflicts in the world.

It also puts spotlight on the resistance of the Palestinian people against the Zionist regime, Daesh and their terrorist attacks in the region, and the world’s tyrants and their backing of Daesh.

The 15th edition of the RIFF kicked off in Tehran on November 26 and is set to wrap up on December 1, 2018.
