The jury committee for the 37th annual Fajr Film Festival’s Iranian Cinema competition has been appointed.
Ahmad Amini, Mohammad Ali Hossein-Nejad, Hassan Khojasteh, Shahrokh Dolko, Behrouz Shoeibi, Hossein Karami, and Reza Maghsoudi will make up the jury committee for the 37th annual event’s Iranian Cinema competition.
The recently appointed team of judges consists of veteran filmmakers active in Iran’s film industry. Notable among them are Ahmad Amini, whose resume includes ‘The First Night of Peace’, ‘The Innocent Ones’, and ‘Davaran’, and Behrouz Shoeibi, known for a long list of successful films and series namely ‘Leila’s Loneliness’, ‘The Recluse’, ‘Mehrabad’, and ‘The Corridor’.
The Fajr International Film Festival is an annual event held on the anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution in Iran, celebrating Iranian cinema. This year’s festival will be held from January 30-February 11, 2019 commemorating the 40th anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution in Iran.
