Doc on Polish composer Wojciech Kilar making score to Francis Ford Coppola's ‘Dracula’ is set to screen at Iran fest Cinema Verite.
‘Wojciech Kilar: Between Avant-garde and Hollywood’ is a documentary by Violetta Rotter-Kozera to be screened to in a non-competitive section of Cinema Verite.
The doc focuses on famous Polish composer Kilar who composed the acclaimed scores on movies such as ‘Pianist’ and ‘Bram Stoker's Dracula’.
Organized by the Documentary and Experimental Film Center, the first edition of the Cinema Verite was held in 2007.
Over the past decade it has emerged as one of the important events on Iran's documentary film calendar.
The organizers of the festival said this year’s edition of the event will be held in Iranian cities of Isfahan, Bushehr, Tabriz, Sari, and Shiraz in addition to Tehran simultaneously.
The 12th edition of the Cinema Verite will wrap up on December 16, 2018.
