Iran Storytelling fest ends

The closing ceremony for the International Storytelling Festival has been held.

The selected storytellers have been announced during a three-day ceremony at the 21st edition of the event.

The Institute for Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults in Tehran will host storytellers from Iran and around the world at the 21st International Storytelling Festival.

Patrons are expected to be delighted by contributions from the various categories of the festival, comprising of story writing, storytelling and research.

The storytelling category includes educational and folklore sections as well as a section for the works presenting ‘Shahnameh’ (Book of Kings), an epic poem by the celebrated Persian poet Ferdowsi.
