An exhibition is scheduled to be held during the 37th Fajr International Theater Festival to showcase Iran’s national theatrical productions.
“The national showcase for Iranian dramatic arts will be held from February 14 to 18 in Tehran,” said the director of the international section of the festival Saeed Asadi.
“The showcase is aimed at introducing Iranian theatrical productions to guests coming from other countries to the event,” he added.
He continued saying that the guests will get picked intently from among those who could make a contribution to Iranian troupes.
The troupe's attendees will turn in their performances on schedule during the exhibition.
The international competition of the 37th Fajr International Theater Festival will play host to seven plays by Iranian troupes.
The plays include ‘Flight Instructions for Captain and Cabin Crew’ by Farhad Fozouni, ‘Steve Jobs’ by Mehran Ranjbar and ‘She’ by Arash Dadgar.
‘Mother’ by Majid Kazemzadeh, ‘Death and the Penguin’ by Payam Dehkordi, ‘The Play’ by Masoud Haqpanah and ‘Oblomov’ by Siavash Bahadori-Rad will be also staged at the event.
The 37th Fajr International Theater Festival will be held in Tehran from February 11 to 23, 2019.
