France to host African Violet

'African Violet' is scheduled to compete at the Vesoul International Film Festival in France.

Directed by Mona Zandi, the film will vie at the competition section of the 25th edition of the event.

'African Violet' narrates the story of Shuku and her second husband who decides to bring Shuku's first husband home, after being taken to nursing home by his children.

Fatemeh Motamed-Arya, Reza Babak and Saeed Aghakhani are the main cast of the film.

The Vesoul International Film Festival of Asian Cinema is an annual special-interest film festival focusing on the cinemas of Asia.

The festival is held annually in Vesoul city in France.
