Indian filmfest to screen ‘The Chair’

The 2019 edition of the Chennai International Short Film Festival (CISFF) in India has set to screen Iranian animated piece ‘The Chair’.

Directed by Mohammad Feizabadi, the short animation will vie at the main competition section of the Indian event.

‘The Chair’ is a 6-minute 2D animation in social-comedy genre. It narrates the story of two men fighting to seize a chair.

The CISFF is an initiative undertaken by a group of individuals, regarded for their achievements and their long standing association with the South Indian Short Film Industry.

The festival has come a long way from its 1st edition in 2014, bringing in quality content and increasing the stature in the minds of its audience and the film industry.

The festival will be held in the Indian city of Chennai on February 16-24, 2019.
