Iran’s Farabi Cinema Foundation and Film Center Serbia (FCS) have signed an agreement to expand cooperation in the cinema industry.
Iranian and Serbian officials inked the agreement on the sidelines of the 69th Berlin International Film Festival in Germany.
The officials, CEO of Film Center Serbia Boban Jevtić and deputy head of Farabi Cinema Foundation for international affairs Raed Faridzadeh, signed the agreement to broaden and strengthen the cooperation of Iranian and Serbian cineastes.
According to the contract, the countries agree to support joint film productions, joint sessions for producers and filmmakers and support talented young directors and female directors.
Details of the executive aspects of the agreement will be announced later.
The 69th edition of the annual Berlin International Film Festival has been slated for February 7-17, 2019.
