Khashayar Alvand, the screenwriter of ifilm series ‘The Man with a Thousand Faces’, has died at the age of 51.
Elham Ghafouri, the producer of popular series ‘The Capital’, confirmed the news, saying the writer of the series died of heart attack on Thursday.
Alvand gained fame for writing successful comedy series such as ‘The Man with a Thousand Faces’, ‘The Capital’, as well as the movies ‘Crank Call’ and ‘The Winning Card’.
Several celebrities and cineastes, including the cinema, television and theater actor, Borzou Arjmand, posted photos of Khashayar on their social media pages, expressing sorrow and condolences to his family for their loss.
Khashayar is the brother of prominent Iranian director Sirous Alvand.
