ifilm is slated to review Iranian movie ‘Misunderstanding’.
Directed by Ahmadreza Motamedi, the film is to be reviewed on this week’s edition of Cinema ifilm.
The film which received five nominations at last year’s Fajr Film Festival is a story about a group of film students in pursuit of an acting career who decide to take a wealthy girl hostage in order to fulfill their goal.
Gradually, the filmmaking along with the hostage situation begins to take a twisted turn, making it hard to differentiate between reality and illusion.
Many of Iran’s household names star in the highly anticipated film, including Akbar Abdi, Mehdi Fakhimzadeh, Merila Zarei, Kambiz Dirbaz, Pejman Jamshidi, and Hanieh Tavassoli.
Writer and director Ahmad-Reza Motamedi is no stranger to ifilmers as his movies ‘Alzheimer’ and ‘A Lunatic Fled the Cage’ have been featured on ifilm on numerous occasions.
