Internationally acclaimed German film editor Hansjorg Weissbrich has been set to hold film editing workshop at the 37th edition of Fajr International Film Festival in Iran.
According to FIFF public relations, the internationally well-known German film editor Hansjorg Weissbrich was invited to hold an editing workshop and share his rich experiences with the Iranian film industry activists.
So far, he has succeeded to receive 13 Best Editor Awards from different cinematic events in Germany.
The focus of the workshop will be on the ways that editing process can make emotional connections between the film and viewers.
Besides, the workshop deals with the storytelling aspect and the technical aspect of the film editing.
Hansjorg Weissbrich is a German film editor. He contributed to more than sixty films since 1995 including Colonia, Trade and Night Train to Lisbon.
Since its establishment in 1982, the Fajr International Film Festival has played a vital role in the development of Iranian Cinema.
The 37th edition of the festival is slated for April 18-26, 2019 in the Iranian capital city of Tehran.
