FIFF Eastern Vista section announces lineup

Three Iranian films and 12 international films have been selected to vie at the Eastern Vista section of 37th Fajr International Film Festival.

The selected titles are as follows:

‘Coming Home’ (2019) by Darya Shumakova co-produced by Russia and Armenia

‘Crossing the Border’ (2018) by Huo Meng from China

‘Crossroads’(2018)by Nam Ron from Malaysia

‘Deep Well’ (2018) by Zhanabik Jetirof from Kazakhstan

‘Fortitude’ (2018) by Rashid Malikov from Uzbekistan

‘Hills without Names’ (2018) by Hilal Baydarov from Azerbaijan

‘Rona, Azim’s Mother’ (2018) by Jamshid Mahmudi from Afghanistan

‘Screwdriver’ (2018) by Bassam Jarbawi co-produced by Palestine, US, and Qatar

‘The Announcement’ (2018) by Mahmut Fazil co-produced by Turkey and Bulgaria

‘The Song of The Tree’ by Aibek Daiyrbekov co-produced by Kyrgyzstan and Russia in 2018

Supervised by Iran’s Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance, the 37th edition of Fajr International Film Festival will take place in Tehran on April 18-26, 2019.
