Iran Leader visits Tehran Int’l Book Fair

Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei has visited the 32nd Tehran International Book Fair.

The leader attended the fair at the Tehran's Imam Khomeini Grand Prayer Grounds (Mosalla) on Monday morning.

While paying a visit to the fair, Ayatollah Khamenei engaged in talks with a number of publishers at the fair.

Some 2400 domestic and 800 foreign publishers are taking part at the 2019 TIBF.

The TIBF is annually held in Iranian capital city of Tehran in early May. The cultural event has turned into a landmark book fair in the Middle East and Asia after over 30 editions in a row.

The fair draws millions of visitors every year, including thousands of university students, scholars and their families. The event currently serves as the most notable cultural event in Iran.

The latest edition of the event has been open to the public since April 24 and will wrap up on May 4.
