Iranian actor/director Mani Haqiqi has joined new movie project ‘Amphibian’.
Directed by Borzou Niknejad, the film is to enjoy Hqiqi before the camera.
Almost 20 percent of the film scenes have been shot so fat and the shooting is currently underway.
The social drama is to be produced by Saeed Khani.
This is Khani and Niknejad’s second cooperation after ‘Vespiary’.
An award-winning actor and filmmaker, Haqiqi will be joining a cast list which includes Amin Hayaee, Bahram Afshari, Anahita Dargahi, Masoud Keramati, Linda Kiani, Mohammad-Reza Solati, and Pouriya Poursorkh.
Haqiqi’s most recent appearance on ifilm was in the role of a doctor in Rambod Javan’s ‘No Men Allowed’.
Winner of the Crystal Simorgh for Best Original Screenplay for his 2005 film ‘Men at Work’, Haqiqi was also awarded the Network for the Promotion of Asian Cinema (NETPAC) prize at the Asian Film Festival.
