Iranian short animated piece ‘The Last Fish’ heads to EcoZine Film Festival in Spain.
Directed by Mahmoud Saemin, the short animation has been invited to take part in the competition section of the 12th edition of the EcoZine International Film Festival in Spain.
‘The Last Fish’ is a short animated account of a fisherman equipped with a fishing hood and an old boat, trying to catch some fish, but not having any success in doing so. He eventually falls asleep out of boredom and disappointment, only to dream of catching a lot of fish.
Saemin’s animation was recently featured at the 14th edition of the Athens Animfest, an international animation festival held annually in Athens, Greece.
The film’s crew members include producer Mohammad Bagher Hosseini, scriptwriter Davoud Abdolmaleki, sound mixer Masoud Omidi, and music producer Amir Ardalan.
EcoZine is a festival which seeks to promote, showcase, and reward films focused on environmental issues in the fiction, animation, experimental, and documentary categories from around the world.
The 12th edition of the event is currently underway held from May 3-19.
