In keeping with the spirit of the holy month of Ramadan, new mural highlighting Imam Ali's (AS) generosity is unveiled in Iranian capital city of Tehran.
The mural installed near Tehran’s symbolic Valiasr square was unveiled Friday, May 5, 2019, in concurrent with the holy month of Ramadan with a theme on generosity of the first Shia Imam, Imam Ali (AS).
The description of the mural reads, "Do as Ali (AS) did at the time of the fast breaking meal-- Iftar. Prefer others over yourself," with the last part referring to a words of wisdom by Imam Ali (AS).
During the holy month of Ramadan, fasting Muslims donate money and food to the destitute families as one of the best rituals every Muslim does in Ramadan, also known as the month of God's feast.
