Houman Seyeddi’s award-winning flick ‘Sheeple’ is soon to enter Iran home screen market.
The new gangster drama will enter home screen market on Tuesday May 14.
‘Sheeple’ was premiered at the 36th edition of Fajr Film Festival in Iran; and bagged a total of four awards, including the Crystal Simorgh for Audience Favorite Film and the Best Screenplay.
The film is about Shahin, a loud-mouthed fellow adopted years ago, who tries to establish his authority in a family run by the iron hand of his drug lord brother.
“Two brothers run and cook crystal meth in a hidden laboratory in the middle of nowhere. Like other gangsters, the honor of their family and neighborhood matters to them. All of a sudden a mobile footage on their sister is spreading everywhere that can jeopardize their reputation and this causes some strange incidents,” a short synopsis of the flick reads.
Navid Mohammadzadeh, Farhad Aslani, Nazanin Bayati and Navid Pourfaraj are among the cast members of the film.
