Spain Imagineindia to host ‘Orange Days’

Imagineindia Film Festival (IFF) in Spain is to host Iranian film ‘Orange Days’.

The movie, directed by Arash Lahouti, will represent Iran at the Official Section of the event.

‘Orange Days’ is to appear at the 2019 edition of the festival alongside other Iranian movie ‘Appendix’.

‘Orange Days’ narrates the story of Aban, the only female contractor in the cutthroat and male-dominated orange harvesting industry, who enters a competition to win a large contract. Her efforts remain futile while anyone involved in her story tries to fail her.

The flick stars Hediyeh Tehrani, Ali Mosaffa and Mehran Ahmadi among others.

The film will also attend the Seattle International Film Festival (SIFF) in the US to be held on May 16 – Jun 9, 2019.

‘Orange Days’ brought Tehrani the Best Actress award of the 2018 CineIran Festival in Canada and won three awards at the 67th Mannheim-Heidelberg International Film Festival in Germany.

The 18th edition of the event is scheduled for May 17-31, 2019.
