ifilm releases 'Setayesh' original music

ifilm has released teaser showcasing selected scenes from 'Setayesh' original accompanied by series soundtrack.

As a prelude to upcoming hit series 'Setayesh' on ifilm playlist, the channel has put together a fantastic teaser featuring impressive scenes of the original series along with the music made by  Iranian composer Sattar Oraki.

Just as a reminder of what happened in the first season of the series, here is a round-up:

Taher has just finished two years of military service, defending Iran against Saddam Hussein's war of aggression. His friend, who's deserted the frontline, wants Taher to help smuggle him out of the country.

Despite his better judgment, and at the insistence of his friend's sister, Setayesh, he agrees. Taher and Setayesh eventually grow fond of each other and make plans to marry. But a tragedy causes a great gap between their families that threatens to keep the two from ever finding happiness together.

The original series shows series dispute of an old man with his daughter-in-law with a focus on how selfishness and greed can ruin someone's life as well as those near and dear to us.

'Setayesh 1' plays a pivotal role in highlighting a strong woman played by Narges Mohammadi as far as Iranian culture is concerned. Veteran Iranian actor Daryoush Arjmand also acts as a grey character in the show.
