Wild Bunch International Sales has bought the rights to distribute Saeed Roustaee’s ‘6.5 per Meter’.
The French leading film distributing company attending the Film Market section of the 2019 Cannes Film Festival has signed contract to screen the Iranian box office megahit in France. Mohammad Atbaei is in charge of international sales of the film.
‘6.5 per Meter’ is a social drama pinpointing the issue of drug abuse and its aftermath.
The film is about a police officer portrayed by Peyman Maadi who is after a huge drug cartel lord played by Navid Mohammadzadeh.
This marks the second project after ‘Life and a Day’ in which the two stars have played together.
Parinaz Izadyar and Farhad Aslani are also among the cast members of the flick.
The film first screened at the 37th Fajr Film Festival and succeeded to win a number of awards.
