Pejman Jamshidi joins new project

Pejman Jamshidi, ifilm star of the series ‘Pejman’, has joined a new play directed by Ali Ahmadi.

Ahmadi is directing a play named ‘The Mother’ which is written by the French novelist and playwright Florian Zeller and translated by Tinoush Nazmjou.

The play narrates the pain and loneliness of a mother whose children leave her.

Jamshidi made his TV series debut on 'Medical Building' before memorable role in 'Pejman' series, directed by Soroush Sehat, which turned him into a household name.

He has appeared in the series ‘Cloudy Years’ (2014), the movie ‘Ceasefire 2’ and the telefilm 'The Honor of Fazel Family'.

More recently, he has acted in 'The Good, the Bad, the Corny' (2015) directed by Peyman Ghasem-Khani and 'Texas' (2018) by Masoud Atyabi.

Pantea Bahram is another actor who has recently joined the very play. She has appeared in ifilm English series ‘The Warped Interpretation of a Dream’ and ‘Under the Vestibule’.

‘The Mother’ will go on stage in Tehran's Iranshahr Theater in May and June 2019.
