Iran actor to play role of Marlon Brando

Behnam Sharifi, the Iranian theater actor, has been chosen to play the role of Marlon Brando in a play with the same name.

The play is directed by Mehran Ranjbar who has previously directed another play named ‘Steve Jobs’.

Sharifi’s role in this play is totally different from his previous roles.

Amin Tarokh, Sara Rasoulzadeh and Yalda Abbasi are among the play’s cast.

The play will go on stage in Sepand Theater in Tehran.
