Leila Zare has joined Manouchehr Hadi’s new home market series ‘Heart (Del)’.

Besides casting Zare who is known among ifilm fans with her role in the series 'The Gift of Darkness', the new show has already taken on a number of big names of Iranian cinema such as Sareh BayatMohammad-Reza GolzarHouman SeyyediMohammad-Reza Foroutan, Afsaneh Bayegan and the director’s wife Yekta Nasser.

The new romantic project’s name is probably inspired by the name of a horse starring in it. The horse’s name is Del which is the Persian equivalent of heart.

A brief synopsis of the home market series reads, ‘The world of the heart is an unknown universe. It fluctuates between the darkness and the light, between grudge and forgiveness, between love and hatred. It also wavers between joining with the beloved and the pain of being apart from them. All these can rule the heart…’

Born in 1980, Zare is an award-winning Iranian actress. Her debut movie was 'We Are All Good', which nominated her for the 9th Iran Cinema Celebration award for the Best Actress in a Supporting Role, and earned her a Crystal Simorgh for Best Actress in a Supporting Role at the 23rd Fajr International Film Festival.

Zare has also appeared in several movies, including, 'Crazy for Leili', 'Leila's Sleep', 'Superstar’ and '11’.
