‘Suddenly Tree’ has received the screening credit.
Directed by Safi Yazdanian, the movie received the permission to appear on Iranian silver screen.
The film, that counts as its director’s second major directorial experience after ‘What’s the Time in Your World’, is among the 23 titles that are competing at the main competition section of the 37th Fajr Film Festival in Iran.
Both Yazdanian’s films have enjoyed romantic stories.
The new flick is said to depict a man named Farhad who talks to his psychiatrist about his memories. Farhad recounts the emotional bond exists between him and his mother.
This character is brought to life by much-celebrated Iranian actor and director Peyman Maadi. He has also been the producer of the film.
Mehrab Qasemkhani, one of the stars of the film expresses in his social media page his joy of appearing in it as, “I’m happy to have a role in this romantic story even if it is a bit part.”
Besides Maadi and Qasemkhani, Mahnaz Afshar, Zohreh Abbasi, Siamak Safari, Pantea Panahiha and Shaqayeq Dehqan are the cast members of ‘Suddenly Tree’.
