‘XL’ cast to join audience for premiere

Iranian film ‘XL’ is scheduled to premiere tomorrow evening in Tehran with the film’s cast set to join the audience in the screening of the film.

Directed by Mohsen Tavakkoli, the film is scheduled to premiere at 20:30 local time in Tehran’s Azadi Cineplex, featuring a narrative by Akbar Abdi on his memories.

 In addition to Abdi, several comedic figures in the Iranian film industry including ‘What Goes Around, Comes Around’ star Yousef Teymouri and ‘Kimia’ star Mir-Taher Mazloumi will be in attendance.

Produced by Hossein Farahbakhsh, ‘XL’ is a fantasy-comedy centered on the life of three modern young men on the path to chasing their dreams after being released from prison, when they run in to unexpected circumstances.

Sahar Qoreyshi, Mir-Taher Mazloumi, Ahmad Irandoust, Yousef Teymouri, Reza Naji, and Bahareh Rahnama will be joining ‘A Gift from India’ star Akbar Abdi, ‘Neighbors’ star Mohammad-Reza Sharifinia, and ‘3X4’ star Ali Sadeqi in making up the film’s cast.
