Two Iranian filmmakers have been selected to judge short films at the 2017 Paris International Cinefest in France.
Iranian directors Keyvan Mohseni and Maryam Raz are to participate at the event as jury members.
Born in the Iranian city of Gerash, Keyvan Mohseni made his filmmaking debut in 2005.
He has made many short movies during his years of filmmaking activity.
Maryam Raz also started filmmaking some years ago and her latest production was ‘The Clown’ in 2016.
The Paris France International Cinefest is geared toward small unit and small budget productions.
The event provides a showcase for exceptionally entertaining films produced by filmmakers relying on a good story and a strong sense of creativity, and not large budgets.
The selection of entries is made in accord with a criteria deriving from a limited staff of professionals.
