Hafez Awards reveals theme song noms

2019 edition of Hafez Awards in Iran has announced nominations for best soundtrack featured in movies or series.

The 19th edition of the Iranian film event selected six nominees to compete at the fest.

The selected works have been premiered or broadcasted over the last Persian calendar year ending on March 21, 2019.

The lineup for the nominees was reported as follows:

• Reza Bahram for ‘Forbidden’ series
• Mohsen Chavoshi for ‘Lady of the Mansion’ series
• Sina Sarlak for ‘About Autumn’ series
• Alireza Qorbani for the series ‘Father’ and the movie ‘Istanbul Junction’
• Reza Koulghani for ‘Sheeple’ movie
• Mohammad Motamedi for the series ‘Moment of Twilight’

Launched in 1997, the Hafez Awards (also known as Donya-ye Tasvir Award) is an annual event which reviews the cinematic movies and TV series which screen during the year.

The 19th edition of the film event is slated for July 11, 2019.
