Abyar’s blockbuster releases English poster

The official international poster for Iranian movie ‘When the Moon was Full’ (Night of the Full Moon) released.

Directed by Narges Abyar, the English poster for the movie has been published.

The poster of ‘When the Moon was Full’ produced by Mohammad-Hossein Qasemi, is designed by Ali Baqeri.

The movie narrates the bitter story of Faezeh, a young girl who lives in the southern parts of Tehran (the capital of Iran). The girl marries Abdolhamid who has fallen in love with her.

The couple for some reasons has to emigrate from Iran and they are accompanied by Faezeh’s brother who is dreaming a new life in another country. But, some unexpected incidents happen to the characters and they go through a lot of difficulties.

Elnaz Shakerdoust, Houtan Shakiba, Fereshteh Sadr-Orafaee and Shabnam Moghaddami are among the cast of the film.

So far, the top grosser has succeeded to sell 114,979,310,000 Rials at the Iranian domestic box office.

The movie was candidate in 13 sections of the 37th Fajr Film Festival and garnered as many as six main Awards of the event, including Best Director, Best Film, Best Leading Actor (Houtan Shakiba), Best Leading Actress (Elnaz Shakerdoust), Best Supporting Actress (Fereshteh Sadr-Orafaee), and Best Makeup (Iman Omidvari).
