Iranian flick 'Midday Adventures: Trace of Blood' is set to be screened at Iran cinemas in two months.
With the screening permit issued for the sequel to ifilm aired 'Midday Adventures', Mohammad-Hossein Mahdavian's offering will get theatrical release in September.
Co-written by Hossein Torabnejad and Ebrahim Amini, the sequel to award-winning original film will be offered in political genre.
‘Midday Adventures’, a political drama that portrays the terrorist atrocities of the Mujahedin-e Khalq Organization (MKO) in Iran during the 1980s, was crowned best at the 35th Fajr Film Festival in 2017.
It also bagged 4 other Simorgh awards, namely the Audience Favorite Film, Best Scenic Designer, Best Costume Designer and Best Film with National View at the event.
