Filming for the third installment of Iran box office hit ‘Texas’ is scheduled to kick off by the end of the current year.
Directed by Masoud Atyabi, ‘Texas 3’ is another sequel to popular Iranian comedy ‘Texas’ all with a comedy action theme.
Atyabi has revealed to local media that shooting for ‘Texas 3’ will start by the end of the year with some new Iranian actors joining the team.
He then added that, “We are currently working on the screenplay and it is not finalized yet. We have also not decided on location shooting yet.”
“Never threaten an Iranian, even in Texas,” a tagline for the comedy reads.
The first part of the movie sold very well in the Iranian box office and was among the best-selling titles of the time. It was premiered in April 2018.
Pejman Jamshidi, Sam Derakhshani, Mehdi Hashemi, Zhaleh Sameti, Behrang Alavi, Reza Naji, Omid Rouhani, Soheyl Qannadan, Nader Soleymani are the Iranian stars of the flick.
