Iran ritual theater poster revealed

The 19th Traditional and Ritual Theater Festival in Iran has released poster in ceremony with a group of artists in attendance.

The poster was unveiled in ceremony at Iran Marionette museum located in Iranian capital city of Tehran where some Iranian artists were present.

The poster designer said at the unveiling event that his presentation shows some symbols including the "bird of Alam" or a metallic structure resembling a bird on a heavy metal installation filled with intricate figurines and engravings, used in ceremonies marking the martyrdom of Imam Hossein (AS).

The 19th Traditional and Ritual Theater Festival opens in the Iranian city of Kashan, director of the festival Davoud Fathalibeigi earlier said.

The opening for the fest takes place on August 11, 2019. The festival will continue in several historical sites across Kashan city and then move to Tehran where it continues until August 17.
