Paris fest nominates Iranian film-script

Written by Saeed Zamanian, ‘The Feast of the Goat’ has been nominated for the Best Short Script Award at the 9th edition of the Paris Art and Movie Awards (PAMA) in France.

The short’s synopsis reads “Children never forget anything”.

Some 1407 works from 63 countries have been nominated to vie at the annual PAMA festival. Just 23 countries will be accepted to compete at the festival’s finale.

The PAMA is an annual international film festival. It provides independent filmmakers with the chance to present their works in high-end venues.

The fest brings together rising talents with established artists.

Every year, the festival is closed by an award ceremony in which trophies, certificates and gifts are given to the winners.

The PAMA has previously been ranked the second festival not to miss in Paris by The Culture Trip Magazine.

The 2019 edition of the event will run until September 23, 2019.
