Iranian actress, Mina Vahid has attended Madrid International Film Festival opening ceremony.
Vahid who played in the short film ‘Wormhole’ has been nominated for the Best Lead Actress in a Short Film award at the festival.
The main themes of ‘Wormhole’ are Parallel Universes, diversity of choices and endless probabilities.
The short’s synopsis reads “Mina Shayegan, a middle-aged author, is in limbo due to the choices she has made”.
According to the festival’s website, it helps talented filmmakers who participate in the festival to find distribution and funding for their projects.
The 2019 edition of the festival is slated for August 9-17, 2019.
